Meet Tate

Tate Horan is an Adapted Physical Education teacher with over ten years of experience working with children and individuals with disabilities across school, recreation, community, and individualized settings.

Her experience includes supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, intellectual disabilities, developmental delays, and multiple disabilities through individualized movement programming that promotes lifelong health, confidence, and independence.

Tate believes movement and fitness are some of the most powerful tools for improving quality of life. Every session emphasizes relationship-building, positive reinforcement, functional movement, physical literacy, and individualized instruction while meeting each participant where they are.
